The movie Foul Play

This is supposed to be an action movie but it turned out to be a comedy. Tony Carlson, the inept detective assigned to the case of the assassination plot against the Pope results in funny situations. Add to the scene the librarian Gloria Mundy whose boring life was colored by the adventures when she was accidentally involved with Carlson’s mission. Carlson is played by Chevy Chase while Goldie Hawn plays role of Mundy. The theme song Ready To Take A Chance Again which was composed and performed by Barry Manillow was also a hit.
