Japan will push through wih the 2021 Summer Olympics (should have been for 2020) but there would be no foreign spectators. The measure is to protect the public from potential contamination of covid that is coming from abroad. However, the issue would be not the spectators or fans but the athletes. Hundreds will be coming from other countries with the athletes, trainers and coaches. That’s a mighty big number to control. The opening ceremonies will be on March 25, 2021.
