Hey all, quick question for those who’ve been lifting for a while, do you still count every gram of your food, or have you reached a point where you just kinda eyeball your meals?

I’ve been tracking consistently, but ngl it gets a bit tiring logging everything everyday 😅 just wondering if it’s normal to ease off tracking over time without messing up progress. Have you guys tried both, and what worked better for you?

I feel you on the tracking burnout. I tracked every single gram for about two years straight until I basically memorized the macros of everything in my kitchen. Nowadays, I 'eyeball' my maintenance days but go back to strict logging the second I start a dedicated cut. If you've been doing it long enough, you probably already know what 6oz of chicken or a cup of rice looks like. Maybe try 'tracking' just your protein for a while and eyeballing the rest to see if your weight stays stable?
