Weighing, measuring and pictures can almost become an obsession. How frequently should I measure, get weighed or take pictures to actually see real results without becoming discouraged?

Everything will depend on several factors or hang!

If you're getting measured!
Be sure to do the same day of the week!
In other words each: 7 days!
Best time: Morning!
Same instructor! - Same scale - if you Starving, Best!

Photos:
Same photographer - the same place - the same camera
Create conditions of light!

take it every 3 weeks. but dont become obcessed with it.

Good points... just to add one simple thing... put a cross on the floor and make sure the distance and angle between you and the camera is always the same
