UFC – bad judging in Burgos-Swanson bout

It was another display of wanton scoring by the judges in the UFC fight of Shane Burgos and Cub Swanson last May 4. One judge had it 29-28 and another has 30-27 got the split decision win of Burgos. But the dissenting judge had a 30-27 in favor of the losing Swanson. How did that scoring came to be when the judge is fair and square? I would believe the close 29-28 but the 30-27 score meant the fighter had won all 3 rounds of the fight. That is simply a lousy scoring again.

It’s not arbitrary. If you stamp on someone’s head there is a very real possibility of smashing their skull. Why bother introducing stupid and unnecessarily dangerous things into the sport? It’s fine as it is.
