UFC bad judging issue

UFC welterweight fighter Alan Jouban is contesting the split decision loss to Dwight Grant. He was insisting that he had done enough to earn the victory but the announcement was otherwise. I guess Jouban has a right to complain because the fight was lackluster and maybe if Grant had more hits but they were not substantial as to merit a score. On my scorecard it was a draw. It’s just unfortunate that UFC doesn’t tolerate a draw for the decision so the judges had to choose between the fighters.
