UFC fight night 152 – Dos Anjos vs Lee

Former UFC welterweight champion Rafael Dos Anjos will meet Kevin Lee today, May 18 in the UFC Fight Night in Rochester, New York. Both have lost their last fight. Brazilian Dos Anjos has a fight record of 28-11 while American Lee has a record of 17-4. Dos Anjos is slightly favored in the betting odds maybe because he had shown a good stamina in his fights while the issue against Lee is the lost gas after 2 rounds.

The expected fireworks from the 2 fighters regaled the spectators although there were dull moments with the grappling of Lee that later on Dos Anjos was doing the same. At the start of the 4th round, the so-called championship round, both fighters seemed to have lost steam although there was the effort to beat one another. One lucky takedown and Dos Anjos was able to grab the neck of Lee for a choke that resulted in a tap. By the way, Dos Anjos is ranked #4 in the welterweight division while Lee is not in the top 10. By the way, Lee was the -125 favorite in the betting odds.
