Former UFC middleweight champion Chris Weidman had moved up to the light heavyweight division to fight #4 contender Dominick Reyes. Weidman has a record of 14-4 while Reyes is undefeated with 11 wins. The fight is on October 19 at the TD Garden, Boston, USA.

Dominick Reyes showed that he is worthy of being ranked #4 in the light heavyweight division by knocking out former UFC middleweight champion Chris Weidman in the first round. With the grappling of Weidman that was defended by Reyes, it looked like that start of the end and it happened that Weidman was hit by a killer punch that sent him down on the mat. The ensuing ground and pound foced the referee to stop the contest.
