Rising star Aspen Ladd will try her mettle against veteran Germain De Randamie at the UFC fight night on July 14 at Sacramento, CA. Aspen’s accomplishment was a unanimous decision over tough Sijara Eubanks whom she had beaten twice. De Randamie is ranked #1 while Aspen is #4 which means Aspen could be lined up for a championship fight if she beats De Randamie.

What a disappointing fight for the fans when the end came less then 10 seconds into the bout. De Randamie released a haymaker that caused a knockdown of Ladd. With the seeming loss of control, the referee stopped De Randamie for her follow up punches in protection of Ladd. It was a heartbreaking loss for the undefeated Ladd who was a -135 favorite.
