UFC heavyweight – Ngannou vs Blaydes

Heavyweights Francis Ngannou and Curtis Blaydes will meet again in the Octagon on November 24 in Haidian Qu, China. This rematch may see Blaydes to even the score. He was knocked out by Ngannou in the 2nd round of their first meeting in 2016 due to doctor stoppage. But with the recent lackluster fight of Ngannou where he lost to Derek Lewis, he will be the underdog against the resurgent Blaydes.

It was expected to be an abbreviated fight but the 45 seconds was unexpectedly too short. The first punch of Ngannou that hit Blaydes on the back of his head caused him to fall head first and Ngannou followed it up with a barrage that Blaydes was unable to defend himself. The referee stopped the fight on the second time that Blaydes hit the mat. The fight record of Blaydes showed 10 wins with only 2 losses both inflicted by Ngannou who raised his record to 12-3.
