The crowd was delighted with the backflips of Michel Pereira that somehow stymied Tristan Connelly. But in the 2nd round, Pereira seemed to be losing steam and had seemed to have lost his penchant for showmanship. In the 3rd round, it was clear that Connelly was dominating the fight and defeated the -550 favorite Pereira by a unanimous decision. That’s a lesson to be learned.
