Undefeated D’Mitrius Ballard for a middleweight bout

Atlantic City will see the tune up fight of D’Mitrius Ballard on his way to the middleweight crown against Elias Espadas on June 21. Ballard should show something spectacular to catch the eyes of boxing promoters. That means a knockout is anticipated and a mere win by decision is not acceptable. Ballard has been a promising 26-year old middleweight for some years now.

It was an accidental head butt that ended the fight when the bleeding of the cut on the forehead of Espadas looked bad that the referee had to stop the fight and declared a no-contest in the 3rd round. It was unfortunate for undefeated Ballard who was hoping to win by a knockout to impress the promoters and be in line for a championship fight.
