It was unexpected but it happened that Usain Bolt failed to win the gold in the IAAF World Championships. Justin Gatlin of the US got the gold for the 100 meters with a time of 9.92 seconds. Nosing out Bolt for second place is another American, Christian Coleman at 9.94 while Bolt landed 3rd with 9.95. But despite the loss, the audience still cheered for Bolt as if it was his last race.

Well it was bound to happen at some point in time, but I was not really ready for it. My guess is that he will still come back and have a couple more victories in him, and then will gracefully walk away as one of the greatest.
