WBA/IBF unification of featherweight title – Roman vs Doheny

As the co-main event of the rematch of Rungvisai and Estrada, DAZN is presenting the unification of the WBA and IBF titles for the featherweight division in Inglewood, California. WBA champion Daniel Roman will face IBF champion TJ Doheny in an exciting match. Doheny is undefeated with 21 wins and 15 KOs while Roman has a fight record of 26-2-1, 10 KOs.

Danny Roman proved his punching power by knocking down TJ Doheny twice in the fight to earn a majority decision of 113-113, 116-110, 116-110 from the judges. Although Doheny had the upper hand in round 7, Roman was able to come back to claim the IBF super bantamweight title together with his WBA title for the successful unification. With the bloodied face of Doheny, there was no question with the decision of the judges.
