WBA middleweight title - Robert Brant vs. Ryoya Murata (rematch)

The rematch of Robert Brant and Ryoya Murata for the WBA middleweight title is on July 12 at Edion Arena Osaka in Osaka, Japan. Brant won the belt from Murata in October of last year by unanimous decision and this rematch will cement his claim of the title if again beat Murata. The champion has only 1 loss with 25 wins and 17 KOs while Murata has fight record of 14-2 and 11 KOs.

After the upset loss to Rob Brant, former champion Ryota Murata has redeemed himself and regained the WBA middleweight belt in a short boxing match that took only 2 rounds. Brant seemed to be defenseless with the continuous attacks of Murata that the referee had to save Brant from more punishment. The 2nd round TKO was an emphatic vindication for Murata.
