A fantastic knockout was the description of some sports writer about the successful defense of WBC heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder with a 2nd round knockout when Breazeale failed to beat the count. The knockout was the 40th knockout win of Wilder and the devastating fashion is still there and expected in the fights to come for Wilder who had a draw with Tyson Fury in his previous fight. The victory was the 9th defense of Wilder for his WBC belt while Breazeale absorbed his 2nd loss from the hands of Wilder and his only other loss was from Anthony Joshua.
