WBC/IBF light heavy title - Oleksandr Gvozdyk vs. Artur Beterbiev

WBC light heavyweight champion Oleksandr Gvozdyk will face IBF light heavyweight champion Artur Beterbievfor a unification bout on October 18 at the Liacouras Center in Philadelphia. Both fighters are past 30 but they are still revered in the division since they are both undefeated with Beterbiev having 14 KOs in all his wins while Gvozdyk has 14 KOs in 17 wins.

Oleksandr Gvozdyk failed to neutralize the relentless offensive of Arthur Beterbiev and lost to a stoppage in the 10th round. It was a good fight with both fighters showing their grit and endurance although Beterbiev proved the tougher fighter in the end. The unified champion has earned his 15th KO in 15 victories.
