WBO featherweight title - Oscar Valdez vs. Jason Sanchez

Mexican Oscar Valdez will make the 6th defense of his WBO featherweight title against Jason Sanchez who is also a Mexican. Valdez is undefeated with 25 wins and 20 KOs while Sanchez has a fight record of 14-0 and 7 KOs. The champion is the heavy favorite in the betting odds but Sanchez vows for an upset and bring home the featherweight belt.

So many ways to describe the one-sided fight for Oscar Valdez in retaining his WBO featherweight title against challenger Jason Sanchez. It’s not really a lackluster fight but maybe an overmatched challenger who didn’t even win a single round with the champion dominating the fight in all the 12 rounds. But some in the audience were disappointed with the bout going the full route because they were waiting for a knockout finish.
