On September 10 WBO flyweight champion Junto Nakatani will defend his title against Angel Acosta at the Casino Del Sol in Tucson, Arizona. The champion is undefeated with 21 wins and 16 KOs while Acosta has 2 losses with 22 wins and 21 KOs and is a former WBO light flyweight champion.

The challenger Angel Acosta failed to win the belt when champion Junto Nakatani damaged Acosta’s nose that caused the fight stoppage in the 4th round. The nose got broken right in the first round and blood was profusely flowing from then on. The ring physician decided to end the bout to protect the nose of Acosta.
