When it comes to Superhero movies, the best I've seen so far is the 2009 film adaptation of DC's Watchmen, this masterpiece was directed by Jack Snyder.

The story takes place in an alternative reality in the year 1985, it was the height of the cold war between the United States and the Soviet Union. The story revolves on a group of retired superheroes called the Watchmen and their investigation on one of their members murder.

No doubt my favorite superhero movie was the Dark Knight Trilogy played by Christian Bale as the Batman. The three films of the trilogy start with "The Batman Begins" followed by "The Dark Knight" then finally "The Dark Knight Rises." All three films are done perfectly as movies can be. Total action, total integration of plot-line from movie to movie. The script was well written, and the acting was superb, plus of course, very well done special effects.
