Hey everyone, just wanted to get some opinions here. In today’s MMA what do you think is actually harder to deal with inside the cage.. elite grappling or elite striking?

I feel like both are dangerous in different ways. A high level striker can end the fight with one clean shot, but an elite grappler can control the whole fight once it hits the ground. Sometimes it feels like if a grappler gets top position it’s really hard to escape.

Curious what you guys think, which one is harder to defend against in modern MMA?

For me its elite grappling honestly.

If someone is a really good striker you can still stay safe with distance and movement but if a high level wrestler or grappler gets you down, it’s a whole different problem man. Once they get top control it can feel like you’re stuck there the entire round. guys like that just drain your energy.
