Jimmy Kolb reshuffled the powerlifting world record archive by surpassing his previous best bench press by an impressive 200 pounds.
Before this colossal lift, Kolb secured the third heaviest bench press of all time — a substantial 508 kilograms (1,120 pounds) lift — at the 2021 International Powerlifting Association (IPA) Strength Spectacular on June 26, 2021, as per Open Powerlifting. He astonishingly added an additional 90.7 kilograms (200 pounds) to his bench press in merely eight months.

The 2022 IPA Pennsylvania State Powerlifting Championships, held on Feb. 26-27, 2022, in York, PA, witnessed Jimmy Kolb forging a new page in the annals of powerlifting.
