What are your reasons for doing TRT? What do you feel? Better/Worse?

I'm planning on it but my psa is high so my doctor doesn't want me to try it. I'm going back in January though after blood work so we'll see.

I know people though who's life's were changed by it. One of my friends is young but had low t. He would work out but not gain any mass at all.

His doctor put him on trt and he's like a new man. Blew my mind to be honest.

My test levels started plummeting in my mid 30’s. Currently if I am not on test weekly my levels drop back to their normal range.

Total Test = 66
Free test = 1.8
Bioavailability = 13

Significantly low.
My problem with dr prescribed trt is that I am genetically included to have a high RBC and Hematocrit but no know disease process so the hematologist will not prescribe blood letting and so the endocrinologist will not prescribe test. So I do it myself.

I never come off of test. I run cycle and ten back on test at 150-200/wk.

The difference for me is higher energy levels a good sex drive and much clearer focus, concentration and problem solving. The last one, problem solving is very important for me because that is what I do as a Quality Control Manager.
Not very one should do what I do. We are all individuals and as such we all require different approaches. I have found this one to work strictly for me.

At age 40, I got a complete physical and bloodwork done (as a Natty) my test was still in the 700's.
Doc wanted complete blood-work pre-statins. (I was way out of whack, double the LDL and Trig's, etc).
It was a family issue (Dad died at 47 - heart disease).
I always suspected high-test my whole life (put on muscle easy, crazy libido, etc).

Fast FWD 10 years, I got complete bloods done again after being on Statins for a decade (test was low at 253).
Statins kill test-levels. Test is made in our cholesterol. Another reason why I had crazy high-test natty, very high lipid-levels, very high test levels, etc.

Went on TRT at 50 - 125 mg a week, brought me back up near 700. Feeling bad on it these days though, prostate, anxious, shaky, etc.
I recently dropped it to 50 mg a week, split into two 25mg sub-q shots. Already feeling better. Pissing better, way less anxious, etc.

Ill get bloods done soon to see where I sit. (Hoping in the 400 range at least, but thats just a guess). Weird how we are all affected differently.
My issues have aging involved as well (at 57)...
