This Germany unit was unlike any other past World Cup winning side who were beaten out of the tournament so quickly. Various critics say a lot of factors have led them to play poorly, but I am not sure if they are correct to some extent. Such as racism issues, out of form forwards, not respecting the opposition, etc.

I am a big fan of Germany, and it's just so disappointing that they were knocked out. What do you guys think? Which team did you root for this past FIFA World Cup?
