In the Philippines, the most popular volleyball league is the NCAA women's volleyball. There is also a semi-pro league that is participated in by commercial companies. But I wonder why the tv coverage is only on the women's volleyball although I'm sure there is a men's volleyball in the NCAA (and the counterpart UAAP for the universities). Is it because women are nicer to watch than men in playing volleyball?

May be your media is biased and that's the reason why only female volley is broadcasted.

It could be that the women team sponsors the media etc. A lot of politics count towards appearing in media these days.
