What exactly is the work of a Cutman? From what I understand, a Cutman specializes in cuts and he is there in the corner to treat the anticipated cuts of a fighter. According to one sports columnist, a Cutman knows of secret formula that when applied to a cut would not only stop the blood but also dries the cut so the pain will subside. They are using medications, all right, but they have their own secret formula for treating the cuts. And that’s their trade so not anyone can be a Cutman.
