"Hitting this double biceps pose because I figured my legs has finally caught up with my arms. I had to quit training arms for 2 years to make that happen. I trained legs twice a week doing squats both sessions to get them caught up with arms. The results well let’s just say I won my first Olympia after accomplishing this task.

Here is William Bonac responding to Ronnie Coleman's criticism on current bodybuilders. I love William Bonac but I agree with Ronnie Coleman.

William Bonac:
I still don’t think that he should say that, you know?” Bonac said. “Especially coming from that kind of man, with a status like Ronnie. He’s the GOAT, and he did a great job. Of course, (he has) free speech, but sometimes you got to be careful with the words that you bring out.”
“Like I said, it’s a different era,” William Bonac continued. “Like Brandon (Curry), if Brandon was in his era, he would have done maybe the same thing that they did. Brandon could have come even better, Brandon could have won the Olympia nine times, instead of eight times. So it’s a different era. If Ronnie came in our era, he would step up to our game. If the guys, like he says, don’t train hard enough, he wouldn’t train hard enough. Why would he, because nobody’s training hard enough.”
“It’s his opinion, and I don’t agree with it,” Bonac went on. “Not just because I’m in this era. I love back in the old school. I love it. If you want to go that way, look at all those guys. People say ‘look at the standard guts,’ and blah blah blah, but really? Go back in time. I see a lot of those guys with a big belly.”
“People will always say their era was the best,” Bonac concluded. “They will always say that. Of course, they want to leave as legends, so they will always say that. A true champion wouldn’t put a feather up in his a–. He would let other people put a feather up in his a–. So he would let other people talk about him, how great he is. He won’t say how great he is.”

Ronnie Coleman Explained How He Almost Quit Bodybuilding After Losing To Lee Priest

Lee Priest is an absolute legend from Australia who competed against Ronnie Coleman and the other elite bodybuilders in that era; having consistently placed in the top 10 at the Olympia and even winning the Mr. Universe title in 2013.

But when Ronnie Coleman attended the 2019 Dubai Muscle Show in December of last year, he was asked to talk about the time when Lee Priest finished ahead of him at the 1997 IronMan Pro and Olympia the same year.

Coleman’s response…

“I’m thinking to myself I’m 5’11, got a lot of mass, real big guy. And I look over at Lee he’s all of 5 foot 2 but he was beating me and I was like how is a guy that size beating a guy my size? I’m like well maybe this isn’t the sport for me.”

"ronniecoleman8 This is a photo from my Olympia competition days. This was from my second heaviest on the Olympia stage at 286. The only thing about this photo is I’m onstage at the Russian Grand Prix which was a week after the Olympia and I know I was at least 10 pounds heavier and not on a strict diet. Oh well at least I still won, the good ole days of bodybuilding."
