today, ronnie did his first workout!

It’s my first day back training at the gym after a 6 months layoff. Yes I know I am very small and I’ve lost a ton of weight but I know with some hard work and dedication I’ll get my size back. I didn’t win 8 Mr Olympia’s by not having faith and not training my butt off so I know I’ll get back where I want to be. I’ve had 7 surgeries so far with this last one being the most difficult and taking the hardest toll on my body. That’s what a 2 level fusion with 6 screws, 2 very large cages and 2 very large spacers will do to you. I’m still not walking unassisted but I will get back to normal walking just like I will get back to my normal size. Phil 4:13, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me”

Still making my comeback to the gym. This is my second week back after a 6 month layoff. Today we did chest and triceps and had s great workout despite the heat at Metroflex. It really and truly feels great to be back in the gym and I can't wait for tomorrow's workout. It's gone be on like a pot of neck bones.

I actually live in arlington near Ronnie. I see him from time to time. Definitely not the same as he used to be. At first when u see him you knew right away its Ronnie but recently seen him I had to do a double take when I seen him, had to make sure it was him, lost a lot of mass..

That's actually good for him. There is no need for him to stay insanely huge if he's not planning to compete anymore. It's more important for Ronnie to stay healthy and still be able to train. After all, life is not all about the time left to the next spinal surgery, right?

We are here at the original Metroflex gym trying our best to get our backs bigger. It's almost 3am but that only makes us stronger. Even though I'm working my way back from a back fusion surgery About 8 months ago, it's no excuses baby. Like I said a couple days ago, it's on like ding dongs because oh yeah it ain't over M/F's. #yeahbuddy
