The bodybuilding industry is where you find different men from different backgrounds with just one goal- to be successful and win competitions. To be a bodybuilder like Boston Loyd, you've got to give it your all and work very hard in the gym.

To have a successful career in bodybuilding, there's only one way and that is building natural muscles. But some bodybuilders have chosen to use other means such as using steroids to build muscles. Some bodybuilders have tried steroid use in the past and they escaped unscathed while some couldn't make it through alive.

The end doesn't always justify the means; this is evident in the life of Bostin Loyd. The promising young bodybuilder lost his life to what could be steroid use. His cause of death cannot be fully said to be excess steroid use because he was already battling stage 5 kidney failure.

He has openly admitted to using steroids to build muscles. And the possible negative effects of steroids are an open secret and a sensitive topic that everyone chooses to avoid.

Bostin Loyd Biography​

Bostin Loyd was born on March 29, 1992. He was a professional bodybuilder and gained popularity when he won the NPC Contra Costa in Hayward, CA at age 21.

He completed his schooling and education in Los Angeles. Then sometime in 2012, he moved to Concord California. Then he moved to West Warwick Rhode Island in 2014. Then he moved to Orlando, FL. But from 2015 till the time of his death, he lived in Spring Hill, Florida.

It was also discovered that his parents were bodybuilders in their lifetime and it was no surprise when Bostin decided to follow in their footsteps. His father's name is Jon Loyd and his mother's name is Bev Loyd.

After he won the NPC Contra Costa in Hayward, he started his fitness brand named Team3CC. What his company does is provide fitness training and sell fitness products like massage oil.

Although he was a trainer, he still experimented with different nutrition and training styles. And apart from helping his clients as a trainer, he has helped others voluntarily but financially and mentally.

On the 23rd of February, exactly two days before he passed on, he posted on his Facebook account how he's improving in his stage 5 kidney failure and his doctors are impressed with his improvement.

Bostin Loyd's Death​

Bostin Loyd didn't keep the fact that he used steroids and that he battled with stage 5 kidney problems a secret while he was alive. Bostin passed on at the young age of 29 and according to reports, there's no specific cause of death.

Bostin slumped and passed out at his residential home in Springhill, FL before he was rushed to the hospital. He was pronounced dead at the hospital with no specific cause of death. Although the paramedics strongly believed that he died of a heart attack, that conclusion is not confirmed yet either.

When he started as a bodybuilder, he disclosed the fact that he was using steroids to the general public. And that made him the first competitive bodybuilder to admit and reveal his steroid use openly. At 21 Loyd had just won the 2013 NPC Contra Costa in Hayward, CA.

Bostin was popularly known for sharing controversial views about the sport. He was very open and honest about his experiences and journey. He disclosed how he fought stage 5 kidney failure and how his improvement has amazed even his doctors. The cause of his kidney failure can best be traced to the overall lifestyle of a bodybuilder

Bostin found out about his problem in October 2020 and started researching how to restore his health. He thought his experience could be used to help other athletes that are facing similar problems in the future.

He went through a series of treatments like recovery peptides, glutathione and stem cells.

Loyd's final competition was in 2016 at the NPV Kevin Border Klash. Because of his views and perspectives, Bostin received a lot of criticism and backlash during his years as a bodybuilder. And the fact that he openly admitted to steroid use caused a lot of uproars. The news of Loyd's passing came shortly after the world was still in grief of the passing of Isaac Ghavidel.



Bostin Loyd Spouse and relationship​

Although he was young, Bostin was lucky to find love earlier in life. In 2013, he got engaged to the only woman he has ever loved, Miss Ariella Giavanna Palumbo. Ariella finished her education in Rhode Island and before she got engaged to Bostin, she was working as a lifeguard at YMCA. In 2013, she was a sponsored athlete at a champion performance. And currently, she's been an online fitness trainer in her husband's company since 2014.

Before his death, Bostin was able to leave a legacy behind in his son Justin. Miss Ariella was the mother of his child and Bostin has not been involved with other women. According to the media, Bostin was set to have a second baby before he passed on. Bostin is a family man as many pictures of him, his boy and his wife have been captured on camera.

Bostin Loyd's Nutrition and workout plans while he was alive​

  • Meal 1: 5 whole eggs 5 whites 1/2 cup oats(measured uncooked)

  • Meal 2: 6 oz chicken breast or white fish w/ 1 cup brown rice and 1 tbspn mac oil or olive oil w/ 1 cup broccoli (pre-workout meal always)

  • Meal 3: 60 grams whey isolate w/ 2 tbspn PB or 1 oz almonds or 1 oz cashews w/half cup oats(measured uncooked) (have this shake earlier in the day)

  • Meal 4: 8 oz top sirloin steak w/ 8-10 oz white or red potato and 2 tbspn mac oil w/ 1 cup green beans

  • Meal 5: 7 oz chicken breast or white fish w/ 1 cup brown rice and 1 tbspn mac oil w/ 1 oz almonds or cashews

  • Meal 6: 60 grams whey iso w/ 2 tbsp PB or 1 oz almonds or 1 oz cashews (have this shake later in the day) or 8 oz chicken breast or white fish w/ 1/2 cup almonds or cashews. (or this meal later in the day)

  • Post workout shake: 60 grams whey iso w/ 1 scoop waxy maize (eat 1 hr after you consume meal)

Bostin's workout routine​

  • Cardio:20-30 minutes post workout w/Ariella (except leg day no cardio)

Drug cycle:

  • 500 mgs test e eod
  • 300 mgs deca 3 x a week
  • 300 mgs eq eod
  • 200 mgs masteron e 3 x a week (first 8 weeks only)
  • 2.5 mg letrozole every day
  • 6 iu gh....3 iu am before breakfast...another 3 iu mid-day 5-6 hours later
  • igf 1 lr3 100 mcgs post workout shot into a muscle trained
  • ghrp 6 250 mcg post workout and pre-bed
  • cjc no DAC 100 mcg pre-bed w/ grp 6
  • Insulin(no insulin for the first 8 weeks)
