had Legs yesterday, I wont bother posting that session though

    Shoulders and Back today

    Military Press
    135x10
    185x6
    205x1 --- smith machine broke
185x2 <--- just making sure it really did break and I didn't just get really weak

    Db Shoulder Press
    50x10
    60x10

    Side Laterals
    30x12
    35x12
    40x10
45x6 <-- no swing, kept dbs to sides all shoulders baby

Chinups - I didn't bother to add any weight today
    6 sets of 10

    Bodymasters Row
    220x10
240x6 - hands slipped, damn rubber grips
    240x7 - hands again
240x6 - once again my damn hands, they were sweating a lot today

    Db Shrugs
    75x12
    85x12
    120x6 - grip failed
    120x12 - thats better

    Bench Press
    135x10
    185x6
    185x6
    135x12

I did Bench Press just for the hell of it really, I'm actually going to start bench pressing at the end of every shoulder workout however. So I'll be hitting my chest 3 times a week

The biggest difference between you and me is you're you, and I'm me. I always win. Sorry bro.

How can a smith machine break? Did you put it between your bicep's and snap it in half?

He loaded it up to 600lb and had 5 people spot him for a picture. Then he loaded it back down to his normal 100lb presses

How did you break the smith machine? You were probably rocking it to much, sometimes I shake the crap out of the machine when im doing close grip bench. Dominating session however. You love training your chest. But theres nothing wrong with that, hopefully you dont overdue yourself.

The smith in my old gym always used to break. They are unreliable I think.

Nice weight on the dumbell shrugs! must have quite a grip to hold on to those. I remember once I used just 90lb dumbells for shrugs and my calluses ripped off and started bleeding.

Nice work on the bench too.

How's the diet coming along Tweak? Is it horrible?

You should use straps if you can't hold the weight bro, I do when I go heavy on shrugs.

Looking after your hands is part of grip work. I still don't buy into straps, check out the articles section for some info on straps and belts. But you do have to manage your calluses to make sure you don't have big lumps of dead skin that can just pull away from lifting.

And yes Tweak, I have been checking out your progress.

your shoulders are god damn strong tweak. i wish i could do 45 lbs laterals with shitty form, much less good form. big military presses too. and your chins are crazed as always...six damn sets with 10. if you take about a 3rd of a rep per set away from that thats like 14 reps per set (or something...i'm too lazy to do the calculations). your damn strong tweak, but i look better

I'm suprised to see you benching again after doing three different chest exercises the other day so that'd be something I'd watch. Also, you know better than to use a Smith Machine

Great weight on those shrugs and side laterals...those babies will be higher than your presses soon

    I did some cardio tonight

15 minutes on the Elliptical, 300 calories burned

then 5 minutes slow paced on the bicycle

    then I was outta there

Exactly what I was thinking! Inclines are very good after that heavy benching as well. Great choice with the close grips too
