Interesting review article (an overview of science literature for a topic) on supplement usage and effect on recovery. Once again it is a pdf as I can't be arsed converting it to text that is legible.Similar Bodybuilding Threads: HPTA Recovery Recovery A week with no computer usage Victor Road to recovery! Hmm 12 views. Bump!
So basically they're saying the nutrients they tested haven't proved themselves enough during these studies to warrant taking them specifically for muscle building/recovery alone?

^^ Pretty much. The recovery aspect especially is in doubt, which makes sense because that is down to more than just one powder or pill. It is important to remember they have been testing these products in isolation. Although the message I wanted to get out there is that the supposed science that the supplement companies use for marketing doesn't stack up. Be vary wary of just how much $$ you spend on this stuff when you could be buying better quality or more whole foods.
Very good point. Thanks for the article Timmo.
