It was one hell of a fight until the accidental head butt occurred that stopped the fight in the 9th round and the decision was left to the scoring of the judges. The scores are 85-84 and 86-84 for Duno and 85-84 for Rodriguez. It was called technical split decision in favor of Duno who collected his 20th win. Although the decision was too close, Rodriguez was on a downslide that he was knocked down in the 8th round and looking worn and weary when the fight was stopped.
