A top ten placing would be great, but I am aiming for the top six. It would be fantastic to be in that first call-out. (GP)
A WORLD-CLASS field is awaiting Barbadian men’s physique pro Maurice Stallone Arthur when he launches his 2017 season in White Plains, New York.
Arthur will stand toe-to-toe with the best International Federation of Bodybuilding & Fitness (IFBB) pros at the New York Pro on Saturday at the Westchester County Center.
The line-up of more than 30 will feature eight of those who qualified for last year’s Olympia, six of whom made the top ten. Big, African-American Brandon Hendrickson, winner of last year’s Arnold Classic, is one of the favourites.
“This is a very tough field, the best of the best. I am happy about that because it is a chance to stack up the very best and to see where I am at. A top ten placing would be great, but I am aiming for the top six. It would be fantastic to be in that first call-out,” Arthur told MIDWEEK SPORT. (MK)
