The lower rep days are always easier I found... when I did the base mesocycle I could barely walk after the 4x9 day... I had never had back cramping so bad either.

I knew that I had 10 sets today to accomplish. Still I was enough idiot to get myself drunk yesterday, thus todays session quality suffered. This will never happen again.

ye all that squatting must be hell for ur lower back buddy. be careful not to injure urself. and id wear a belt on all working sets to be honest.

I'd forgotten you were doing Smolov, it sounds like its going as per normal. In regards to belts, use when required but try to avoid relying on it. I used to try and crack out my first few sets without and then add it when they became grinders.

Enjoy the back ache. It makes walking fun doesn't it. :xyxthumbs:

Oh yeah. As soon as I had logged my session I got this massive headache and fucked up eyesight. I couldn't understand anything. Prolly high blood pressure or something like that. I only have 2 sessions before I test my new max. I have to survive until then.
