I'd have to go with the LOTR trilogy.

All excellent choices.

Godfathers anybody? (admittedly the 3rd installment wasn't of the same quality)

The Land Before Time, oh wait there's like eighty of them.

I'd have to go with LOTR.

Indiana Jones and The Terminator's won't be trilogies for much longer.

Or Robocop apparently.

Does everyone still count Star Wars as a trilogy and draw a veil over the "pre-quels"

I was wondering that myself when I put them on the list. For me SW is still the first 3 movies and the pre-quels are another 3 movies. Episode 1 and 2 was horrible I think and episode 3 was above avarage.

Evil Dead is not really a trilogy since Evil Dead II is a remake of Evil Dead I.
I have seen both and Evil Dead II is by far the most entertaining.

And Die Hard is quad too.
