Billy Joe Saunders Fined £15,000

In March the British Boxing Board of Control suspended the two-weight world champion Billy Joe Saunders' boxing licence . This was because of the videos BJS released advising men on how to hit their female partners. He used a punching bag to explain how to "hit her on the chin" if "your old woman is giving you mouth".

The 30-year-old was initially fined £100,000 by BBBofC in September 2018 for the video which the police described as "sickening". The £15,000 fine will be donated by charity. BJS who is unbeaten in 29 bouts can now resume with fighting because his suspension has been lifted.
