Tragic news that hit the 212 division hard. Seeing a Navy veteran and top-tier pro pass away right after standing on stage at the Atlanta Pro is surreal. Damn, tis one is really tough to read. Seeing that he competed just a week before his passing makes it hit even harder. Whatever the circumstances were, it’s important not to speculate about the cause of death and instead remember what he actually gave to the sport his career, his service, and his family. 40 is far too young. My condolences to his wife, children, and everyone who knew him.
