Out of Olympia!
Written by Dave Palumbo
Saturday, 12 July 2008
Musculardevelopment.com has just gotten word that "The Predator", Kai Greene, has chosen to skip the 2008 Mr. Olympia contest. Despite being a dream of his since he was a young boy, Kai feels the time just isn't right. After placing 3rd at the Arnold Classic and winning the New York Pro Show earlier this year, he wants to give his body a much needed rest so that he can properly prepare for his assault on the 2009 season. Stay tuned for Kai Greene updates, only on musculardevelopment.com!

big dissapointment there. Was looking forward to seeing him in the top 5 but he knows what he is doing. We all saw what phil did by skipping the O last year. I expect big things for Kai in 2009 arnold and beyond.

sad news to hear, but doesn't matter if he competed or no, Phil would still place in front of him :coolguy:

That blows, but he knows what he is doing and I am excited to see what he will bring this coming year. Maybe this rest will give him that edge it gave Heath and he could possibly take the Arnold, more competition is exactly what this sport needs right now.

Agreed, The more competition the more entertaining and exciting it will be. especially more videos and training info
from the other competitors.
Kais posing is somewhat odd, but no one else is doing it
like he is. resting is key if he wants to completely pwn it next year.

i dont like him, and i probably hate his posing, but as the great competitor and the great menace he is, ill miss him at the O, he could have done some damage.. competition makes any sport great :tear:

Why? What's stupid about his posing?
He will be at stage 8 palumboism by the time this break is over.
The amount of distention and blockiness he featured at the NY Pro was minimal based on the amount of lean mass he's added to his frame in the past year. I don't see where these blind criticisms of yours are coming from.
