Potato, taro, yam and other tubers are the best to eat when you are bulking. Aside from the bulk the tuber can give you more energy than rice or bread. In our culture the carbohydrates of tubers fortify the stamina of athletes. But the downside of tubers for athletes is the added weight. Tubers can easily make you heavier maybe because of the sticky nature of that food.
