My guess is because of the recent size he's put on(it's not all clean).
His absent unbelievable waist-shoulder/back ratio was the thing contributing the most to that wow-factor of his, these pictures does not have that same impact.

I think he knows what he is doing though.



Another thing: I kinda mistook him for Cutler in a few of those pictures, some facial similarities are starting to show, other than the hair that is.
