He obviously did NOT turn pro in the US. There are tons of guys just like him who win the title of some po-dunk country qualifying them for the IFBB. You'd be shocked at some of the no name guys who don't place top 15 at the IFBB Ironman. Alot of them would probably never even when a state level show in the NPC.
