He was asked what changed after people criticized his legs.
His answer was simple and direct.
He split leg training into two separate days:
- One day for quads only
- One day for hamstrings, calves, and glutes
His current prep structure:
- Quads: 3 to 4 exercises, usually 4
- Hamstrings: 3 to 4 exercises
- Glutes: 1 to 2 exercises
- Calves: trained with hamstrings
In the offseason, he reduces volume and combines everything:
- 3 quad exercises
- 1 hamstring exercise
- 1 calf exercise
- All in one session
Training Context From the Video
He is about 6 weeks out from the New York Pro.The workout is done on Matrix machines with strict execution and controlled reps.
You can see:
- Full quad separation
- Thick hamstrings coming in
- Better overall leg balance
Why This Works
If your legs are lagging, this is the takeaway:- Train legs twice per week instead of once
- Separate quads from hamstrings
- Keep volume high during prep
- Reduce volume in offseason to recover
Krizo shows that fixing weak body parts comes down to structure, consistency, and pushing hard when it matters most.
