MM - Thanks man, it's awesome that guys like us can be friends and encourage each other in times of hardships from across the globe. I appreciate the compliment but just wait and see what "big" really is in a few months after I start bulking ;)

Tweak - Thanks, brother, I was definately feeling the pump when I was got done. In fact, I went upstairs to join my family for my brother's birthday and my arms were bigger than his girlfriend's head haha.

Evo - Thank you for the kind words and sharing your own personal setiment with me; it does mean a lot. LOL at the Stallone comment though, he was lean motherfucker and all but I definately do want to be bigger than him :2:

Rocky - Thanks Dan, definately trying to stay in as positive a mindset as possible. It's funny, regarding my physique, about my arms because they've always grown fast but these days you almost need overly big arms to compete and look balanced so I still need to put more meat on them :weightlifter:

FF - Not a stupid question at all, man. I went to the Bahamas with my family about two weeks ago and have been in a bit of a funk ever since. Sorry to hear about your depression but in a way, it's nice to know there are people here who can empathize with me. Very encouraging words man and I'm glad you checked out the log again :2:

PS: I trained legs and recorded my weights and whatnot, but I've gotta run out for a little bit and get some food and some sun. I'll update my leg workout when I get back. Despite being improvised and in my basement, I can assure you it was draining as hell. Later guys

mvsf1 - Thanks man, I really don't have that great of equipment but I definately go out of my way to make the most of it. I could really use a barbell that allows me to use more than 225 and some dumbells over 20 pounds LOL. Thanks once again for the compliment on my physique, trying to really blow the tri's up this next year actually; it's one of my target spots in my next bulk :2:

Alright, today I got to workout and to be honest at the start of the day I was filled with anxiety and I almost really didn't want to train. I was convinced I was going to put a session in however I didn't know how it'd go and felt like cheating myself by keeping it short or holding back. In the end I thought of you guys as motivation and put in a good session of quads and hams. I actually trained hams first because my lack of equipment at home makes it difficult to really pound my quads, plus, who couldn't use some extra ham work? Also, because of the lack of weight I could use, I upped the reps slightly; you'll see. Here goes...

Date: 8.5.06

Location of Workout: My basement

Time of Workout: 3:10 pm

Meals before Workout: 2

Duration of workout: 40 minutes...I really don't like resting much haha

Legs

Standing One-Legged Hamstring Curls
Set #1 - Setting 3 (of 9) x 20 reps
Set #2 - Setting 4 x 20 reps
Set #3 - Setting 5 x 15 reps
Set #4 - Setting 5 x 15 reps
Set #5 - Setting 6 x 10 reps DROP Setting 4 x 20 reps DROP Setting 3 x 30 reps

SLDL...here I don't actually have "stiff" legs but I do initiate the movement with my hams
Set #1 - 185 pounds x 20 reps
Set #2 - 225 pounds x 20 reps
Set #3 - 225 pounds x 20 reps

BB Lunges supersetted with Leg Extensions
Set #1 - 135 pounds x 10 reps (each leg) AND Setting 6 (of 9) x 12 reps
Set #2 - 135 pounds x 10 reps AND Setting 8 x 10 reps
Set #3 - 135 pounds x 10 reps AND Entire Stack x 10 reps
...this was seriously hell :weightlifter:

Machine Leg Presses
Set #1 - Entire Stack x 25 reps
Set #2 - Entire Stack x 25 reps
Set #3 - Entire Stack x 25 reps

...great pump, and I got in and out of there really quick. Definately made the most I could with what I had and it felt good to change it up and do hams first. I'll try to take some pics of the wheels soon; until next time, take care everyone

damn man, unleasing that monsterous strength of yours yet again. Glad to see a session back in here man. Your one hardcore man, as said before your looking big man, but hell from those shirtless pics from your vacation you could tell your big real easy, definetely got a great physique man.
Those reps are just insane man, the pump had to be crazy, excellent job Line.

You just said "man" 6 times, and it sounds terribly stupid with all those mans.

Anyway, great leg session Line! Those BB lunges are crazy, and thats some good stuff your doin in your basement. Keep it up!

Good workout Line, I think resting to much in your basement while training should be boring... but not on the gym... you can see some nice chicks :D

I believe you should add some weight to "entire stack" sets, you are relaxing a lot I believe... :D j/k bro, I think it's good to alternate hardcore train in the gym with "no-rest-hurry-up!" workouts.

Keep it up!

20 rep SLDL fuck that for a laugh, and supersetting lunges and leg ex makes me shudder at the prospect. You're certainly right that you made the most of that session. Legs must have been pumped to fuck. Surprised you didn't rip your shreddies!

Paulie - Thanks man, doing the best I can with what I have.

BB - Thanks for the big compliments on my physique, brother. Means a lot coming from a future procard holder ;)

mvsf1 - Man, I wish I could add weights to those stacks believe me but they move really slow on the cables as is! LOL

Thanks for posting bro.

Rocky - Yeah, the pump I had in my legs yesterday was nuts, afterwards they just looked pretty big with almost no detail because they were so gorged with blood. The even better news is that despite it being a basement workout, my legs are still sore as hell today; particularly my hammies.

FF - Thanks man, and yeah, I try to keep the logs as accurate as possible so I can see what I'm responding to and how my sessions go based on time, meals, duration, etc. This will really come into play when I start my bulking.

BPP - First, I can't believe I'm acknowledging your change in name, but thanks again for the kind words. Trying to keep it as hardcore and down to Earth as possible. As for my glutes, no pump but they were sore as hell this morning :spy:

Rob - Yes, but only if we train shirtless.

Alright guys, today was supposed to be back and shoulders day but I had a slight mishap so I just finished off back and my delts will have to wait to do battle another day. I felt a tweak in my lower back after my last set of BB Rows and decided to see if it felt any better as I progressed. After finishing the back portion of my routine though I noticed it was still as tight as it was before so I stretched up and just went upstairs to ice it. I don't have too too much I can do for shoulders in my basement as is so that'll just have to wait until tomorrow now. Notheless, still got a good back for width workout in; enjoy...

Date: 8.7.06

Location of Workout: My Basement

Time of Workout: 3:50 pm

Meals Before Workout: 3

Duration of Workout: 40 minutes

Back
Overhand BB Rows
Set #1 - 130 pounds x 20 reps
Set #2 - 180 pounds x 12 reps
Set #3 - 200 pounds x 10 reps
Set #4 - 220 pounds x 10 reps

Wide-Grip Pulldowns
Set #1 - Entire Stack x 12 reps
Set #2 - Entire Stack x 12 reps
Set #3 - Entire Stack x 12 reps

Cable Rows
Set #1 - Entire Stack x 15 reps
Set #2 - Entire Stack x 15 reps
Set #3 - Entire Stack x 15 reps

Rear Laterals
Set #1 - 20 pounds x 25 reps
Set #2 - 20 pounds x 20 reps
Set #3 - 20 pounds x 20 reps

My back was still pretty tight so I stretched out and got out. Pump definately felt great in my back so hopefully I'll be in ship-shape tomorrow and be able to pound my delts. Thanks for reading as always, take care everyone

Thanks, MM. Rows have been a focul point for me lately because I haven't been doing them as long as I should have and I certaintly didn't push myself in them as hard as I should have. I appreciate the post and I'm looking forward to when I can give you guys actual numbers on my sets instead of this "Setting 5" or "Entire Stack" bullshit :xyxthumbs:

Quick Update: I'll train shoulders and traps today but my back is still a bit tight so I'll be taking it easy. Probably no pressing because I have nothing to stablize my back against.

Quality back session Line, those rear laterals must have burned like crazy for that rep range. Excellent work on the rows too.

I hope the twinge in the back is okay mate and not giving you too much worry. Looking forward to seeing your delts getting fried. Have a good one!
