In the latest Ask Dave episode on RXMuscle, Dave Palumbo tackled a loaded lineup of PED and performance questions, including a deep dive into Masteron’s surprising use for mass gains in the offseason.

🧪 Masteron for Bulking? Traditionally seen as a pre-contest compound, Dave says Masteron can work in a mass-building stack—especially for guys who don’t tolerate Deca (low libido) or Tren (BP/sleep issues). He suggests 600mg/week as an effective dose for size and lean gains when alternated with EQ.

💉 BPC-157 + TB-500 Site Injections Dave clarifies you can inject both anywhere subcutaneously, but near the injury might give a slight advantage. They can be mixed in the same syringe. He also warns TB-500 degrades quickly after mixing—suggesting smaller vials for better shelf-life.

🧬 IGF-1 LR3 = Insulin-Like? Yes, but not identical. IGF-1 mimics some insulin effects like nutrient shuttling post-workout—without the fat storage downside. That’s why it’s called “insulin-like growth factor.” It binds to both IGF and insulin receptors and can slightly lower blood sugar. Titan Medical is even offering 10% off on IGF and GH peptides this week.

💊 Potassium Salt vs Sodium for Pumps If you’re cramping less after adding potassium salt, it’s likely due to the added sodium, not potassium. Most people aren’t potassium deficient unless they’re vomiting or on diuretics. Dave strongly emphasizes salting your meals—especially on low-carb diets.

🔥 Using Clen During PCT or Off-Cycle Yes, but with caution. Dave recommends 20mcg twice daily to retain strength and lean mass, but only if you haven’t been running it pre-contest. It won’t affect androgen receptor recovery but needs to be cycled to prevent beta-receptor burnout.

🧠 Free vs. Total Test After 50 If you feel like garbage despite “normal” total test, your free test might be the issue. When using TRT, Dave says don’t stress free test levels—exogenous test gives a pharmacological edge that overrides natural binding ratios.

🏆 Worst Contest Prep Ever? Dave reflects on his first all-natural prep—pure torture. Six-week diet, no drugs, extreme cardio, and brain fog. But he says it taught him discipline and resilience that shaped his career.

🏋️‍♂️ Dorian Yates Was Right About Conditioning Dave agrees with Dorian: most guys chase fullness over being shredded. Dropping 7–8 lbs could change physiques dramatically. He points to Hadi and Derek as perfect examples of “shrink-wrapped” wins.

🩺 Nick Walker’s Varicose Veins = Dangerous? Not really. They’re cosmetic. Likely genetic valve failure. No health risk, but could be surgically removed later if he chooses.

📺 Bonus: Dave teases a new interview with Rich Gaspari breaking down Olympia predictions and the state of the sport.

💬 What do you guys think—have you tried Masteron in a bulk cycle? Is Clen part of your bridge strategy? And are sodium and IGF-1 underrated for off-cycle performance?
