today was lowerbody day:

max effort lift: work my way to a 5 rep max
-100kg 5 reps
-120kg 5 reps
-130kg 5 reps
-140kg 5 reps

one leg db squats:
-3 sets with 12kg for 10 reps

leg curls:
-3 sets with 90lbs for 10 reps

then cardio: was tired as fuck so it was just 30 min run at speed 9,0

Max, you should do longer runs. Longer your runs are, the better your sprints will be. Try shooting for 30-40 minute runs. Doesn't have to be full intensity runs, just run a pace where you can go for 30-40 minutes.

There was a study that proved this wrong.

The study said that if one wants to be better at sprinting, one should train sprinting. The old method is what you are saying, long runs for better sprints. But the test proved that wrong.

Don't know what else to say. Try what's best for you Max. Also, I don't remember the name of the journal =/

yesterday i did:

just running 30 mins speed 9,0

quick question for those read my log, when should i up the speed when i can run the speed for 45 mins or when it´s easy to run the speed for 30 mins?

i got something to report : did play the weekly bball practice and it felt good not breating as heavy as i used to and i can run up and down the court without breating hard as hell. anywayz gonna hit that repetiton day tomorrow even tho i did something today, forgot to write what i was suppose to do

i just made a decsion to keep runing at pace 9,0 just for longer time

so today was upperbody

max effort lift-bb bench press:
-80kg 5 reps
-85kg 5 reps

incline machin press:
-45kg 10 reps
-50kg 10 reps
-55kg 10 reps

row machine:
-40kg 15 reps
-40kg 15 reps
-45kg 12 reps
-45kg 10 reps

rear db laterals:
-3 sets of 7kg for 12 reps

cardio: running at speed 9,0 45 mins, that was some hard shit, when i was at 35 mins i was kinda done but i said to myself i´ve made it this far i have to keep going and i did :p

v handle pulldown:
-60kg 5 reps

shoulders press smith´s:
-3 sets with 60kg for 5 reps

db curls:
-3 sets with 20kg for 5 reps

seated e-z bar tri extension:
-3 sets with 30kg for 5 reps

no running

stiff leg deadz:
-3 sets 80kg 5 reps

seated calf raises leg press machine:
-3 sets 210kg 10 reps

running: 30 min on speed 9.0 treadmill

pretty bad week for me, been sick for the last 2 days so today was a bball day so i did:

A little circuit training 3 sets no rest basicly

incline machine press 50kg
db laterals 7kg
db curls 7kg
one arm db extension 7kg
pulldown 50kg
just light day

then 30 min shooting b4 the practice and then 40 mins of shooting after that so im getting alot of shoots up. a must

a little update:

i have no idea if i wanna compete or not, right now im just having fun training and do what i feel like doing. but i am eating and im trying to correct my bad habits so when i feel im ready nutrion vise i might jump and do a show, right now it´s just training and learning to eat right and just seeing how my body reacts to diffrent kind of macros, if i had a goal i guess it would be to lose maybe 5kg´s, but im just trying to eat right so that weight loss will probly happen but im also training to gain some lean muscle, so we´ll see
