Can I ask why you didn't like it?
Well, there were a lot of reasons besides me not finding it very funny. I could sum it up by saying it's far too Hollywood to effectively lampoon Hollywood. Stiller seems to really want to get back into the comedic spotlight after a string of critical failures and this project seemed to be an obligatory "include everything/everyone we can so it's well liked regardless of its actual content" kinda deal. It was also too long for what it was and poked fun at many things that it didn't have grounding for. Who is Ben Stiller to point out the shortcomings of Francis Ford Coppola? Finally, it seemed to have this misconstrued idea that if a punchline is funny, it's even funnier if it's screamed.

The Notebook - my girl's favorite movie, first time I actually got all the way through it.
Goldeneye - Probably the top contender for the best Bond film in the series
Tomorow Never Dies - Meh, it was pretty good

Just saw Forgetting Sarah Marshall.

Really good movie, it went beyond my expectations. Genuinely taking romantic drama and hilarious comedy into a blend you grow to enjoy.

IN SHORT - Watch it fags.
