Paper or Plastic

This is a completely pointless subject, but i was at the grocery store earlier today and the bag boy asked me if i wanted paper or plastic. i told him it didnt matter to me. do yall really care if your grocery get put in a paper or plastic bag? again completely pointless just was wondering.

it can be recycled. cardboard bags here, have that symbol.
also if we use plastic we re-use it.

exactly, H-E-B here gives you 10cents for each of bag you bring to use.
my mom has 5, large ones, usually get 30-40cents instead, heh

i aint uptight abou the environment i was just curious what everybody else thought on the subject. it was the first time in a while they asked me paper or plastic and i was bored at work so i thought i would make a pointless thread.

Paper, my approach is I didn't cut the fucker down and they already have the paper bags, it's not like when I request paper they instantly cut down a tree, process the pulp press it into sheet cut it us and form it into a grochery bag for my use. So i'll go with paper plus im not an enviormentalist so fuck the trees.

i dont think ive seen the option here for paper bags,
but we do have the option of plastic or re-usable bags that cost like $1 - $3 lol

i like the way you put it. i say fuck the trees too. thats one thing we do for money. we grow pine trees at my hunting camp and then cut them and sell them. so i aint no environmentalist either.

the grocery stores i go to only have plastic, some of them have boxes...in ontario you have to pay 5 cents per bag in hopes to cut down on the plastic bags, there long term goal is to completey eliminate plastic bags and have the reuseable tote bag type grocery bags....
