phils clavicles really becomes a problem when standing next to jay, look in the front double bi, the front lat spread, and the rear lat spread. thats just total domination right there. the size difference is pretty damn big.
and btw, i dont understand everyone bashing cutler for his leg asymmetry, its not worse than it have been, and if u look at phil, even hes got alittle leg asymmetry, his right leg is noticeable thicker than his left too.
overall, the size difference is just too big to award this one to phil even though his conditioning is slightly better in some areas.
Phil wins this easily. Jay fans are like people who likes some weird porn. We cant judge them.. It's not their fault that they just like weird things. It's just sad
phil heath has momentum moving into the finals. he will without a doubt (whether the judges see it or not) eclipse jay cutler on stage. i admire both of their improvements, but in my personal opinion, phil takes it hands down
Jay does not look better than last year and this is in great part to his asymmetry issues being more prominent than ever before. From 2004-2006 he had at least stayed healthy and made apparent strides to do what he needed to in order to win. Now that he's won and the Sandow was "practically on his mantel" this year, it's almost as if any realistic game plan just went out the window. The idea of coming in more streamlined clearly backfired as he now holds no other advantage over those he's being compared to outside of mass...which he has less of. His conditioning may be slightly better than 2007 but his color seems off which clearly is not doing him any favors and pretty much counterbalances any extra leaness he may or may not be sporting. I think it's amazing that he'll likely win tonight and close to 80% of our tabulations point to him being inferior to Heath, who is likely being considered for third. The whole judging system of the IFBB is a laughing stock and needs to be revamped. Too many traditionalists with their illogical mindsets put forth these ideas of "most improved" and "you have to knock out the champ" instead of actually awarding physiques as they're presented.
IMO Jay still has a chance to win cos as pre-judging progresses, he pushes out more water, and come final night for his posing routine, he somehow manages to walk on that stage more shredded and immensely more detailed. Hopefully he can prove this once again and give Phil and Dex a good run for their money.
