Do you know Popeye the Sailor Man? He was the most popular cartoon character during my childhood years. We had no tv yet and I go to the neighbor to stand by their window where I can see their tv. The cartoon Popeye was shown once in the morning and also in the afternoon. There are 2 versions – King Feature’s Syndicate and the other is AAP. The cartoon is very short like 5 minutes only so there is variety for the 30 minutes of the slot in the morning and afternoon.
