Fuckin pissed to hear the back is bothering you, nonetheless lifts are lookin strong. Im impressd with the squats, especially considering ur back was fuckin aching. HEavy shoulder work too, idk about the back though, maybee ur going to have to back off of squats and romanian deads for awhile, doing both squats and deadlift in one week is really hard to do

good session rocky, but be careful with that lower back, man thats the worst place to get an injury, cuz when uve first got it it takes so long to get rid of. great db presses and leg press thats for sure, just be careful with that back bud:xyxthumbs:

Leg Press is what I'd expect from you. Another PB though? From you, HOW DO!? That I would have never guessed :spy:

shame on the squat fail, no worries however. You accomplished a PB on the leg press, I'm sure that stole some of your thunder.

Presses are your usual route, impressive nonetheless. Careful with your forearm :uhoh2: You should know lifting that amount of weight on top of your already busy masterbation schedule your asking for an injury. Careful Dan

4 PBs, pitty. I'd expect no less then a dozen next time around :spy:

beau - Thanks buddy. Yeah I'm pleased that both of those are improving. Particularly my shoddy leg size appreciates the strength increase.

Dobbs - Thanks. Yeah I think I'm gonn have to be more vigilante when assessing if my back is ok to do the exercises I want.

shade - Cheers buddy! :xyxthumbs:

Bulkboy - Yeah you're right. I know I need to be more careful but my problem is I'm too quick to push myself through an injury which is not the sensible approach.

Tweak - Yeah was gutted about the squat. One I really don't want to be going backwards on. I really don't want to have to limit my masturbation time. Times are sad when it cuts into your training.

Hypo - Hmmm, visual aggression in my mind. I'll have to try it.

Turkish - Yep I already use a belt for my main squat sets. Just got to get into the mindset of being careful with my back on not doing the exercises I've pre-decided on if it's not up to it.

Max-OT - Nope no powerlifting meet. Just trying to exceed everything I did in the previous session every time. It's getting harder though!

Pickle - Thanks sweetness.

Well I knew it was coming but it still hit me hard and pissed me right off. The strength comne down has begun. Today's session sucked shit. Gutted. Plus I had an "incident" which I will explain at the end. My back was feeling better today but I set out to do a lighter set of deads for reps today just incase.
I wasn't gonna post the session but hey, got to take the bad with the good and hopefully it'll inspire me to better it next time. Methinks I need to get more creatine sooner rather than later...
Anyway here it was:

DB Incline
25kg (50lb) x 10
35kg (82lb) x 10
45kg (100lb) x 5 - 1 less than last time.
45kg (100lb) x 3 - 1 less again.

Lying DB Pullover
45kg (100lb) x 10
Lying BB Pullover
60kg (135lb) x 5
50kg (110lb) x 6 ?!?!

BB Decline
90kg (200lb) x 10 - felt hard :uhoh2:
110kg (240lb) x 5 - r/p set - and it was tough
100kg (220lb) x 6 :disgust: and I had to pause after 4.

Wide Grip Chins
x 10
w/10kg (22lb) x 8
w/15kg (33lb) x 5.5

Deads
100kg (220lb) x 10
150kg (330lb) x 9 - disappointed. Was going for at least 10 but even using the straps my grip was slipping and felt weak.

T-Bar Row
90kg (200lb) x 10
130kg (290lb) x 8 - P.B.
130kg (290lb) x 6 - awkward - the weight on the bar is difficult to stop myself falling forward.

Fat Man Pullups
x 15
x 15
x 15

Seated EZ Tri Ex
45kg (100lb) x 10
60kg (135lb) x 4
60kg (135lb) x 3

Rev Bench Dips
w/70kg (155lb) x 10
w/110kg (240lb) x 8 - P.B.
w/110kg (240lb) x 8 - then something went wrong... I'll explain.

Front and Rev Forearm Curl superset

Then cos I was pissed off with chest I went on the seated chest press which I've never used before. It feels heavy and the handles start really far back which is awkward to get the initial press off.

Seated Chest Press
50kg (110lb) x 10
60kg (135lb) x 10
70kg (155lb) x 6
70kg (155lb) x 7

Well that was it. Once the 1st couple of exercises went sour it set my mood for the rest of the session really so felt a bit down.
Anyhoo - THE REVERSE DIPS INCIDENT

I was doing the dips and with the weight I'm using it's quite awkward - I can handle the weight for the exercise but it's getting it onto my lap which is awkward. I can't pile up plates on my lap because they'll slide off so I load up a hammer bar and rest it on my upper lap. I put my feet up on one bench and my hands on the edge of another bench. Well I had done my first set ok, and apart from it being tricky getting the weight into position and my feet up on the bench to start the set, it is also awkward to get myself back and my bum on the bench behind me so I can get my feet on the floor to stready m,yself and get the weight off.
Well after my last rep of the last set, I starting wriggling myself back to get my bum on the seat but then as I shifted myself up and back I inadvertantly pushed with my hands which tipped the bench over behind me and I went crashing to the ground with 110kg on my lap, landing on my coccyx and my head and upper back slammed into the upturned bench behind me making a godawful din, and God knows what it looked like.
Fortunately I escaped with a sore coccyx and the skin being taken off of my right forearm. I lay there for a minute before rolling the bar down my legs and getting up.
The whole time this went on a guy was sitting on the seated chest press directly behind me watching this unravel and at no point did he get up or offer to help. In fact when I had got up, dusted myself down and uprighted the bench he simply wandered over and asked if I had finished with the benches!! Now I may be judging him too harshly in that if I saw that happening I'd be over like a shot to see if the guy was hurt, but maybe he thought I'd be embarrassed and thought if he ignored it I wouldn't lose face.
But to be honest, I wasn't embarrassed, it wasn't like I was handling more weight than I could lift, it was just the mechanics of getting in and out of position and I'd rather someone came over to help me when I've just been crushed by 110kg and collapsed to the ground on an overturned bench and be a little embarrassed than lie there injured to save face.
Oh well, each to their own.

Maybe it was just an off day for your chest...I mean you did get a few PBs.

Careful with that coccyx, that's one of my favorite parts. I would've got up to see if you were ok, too, especially if you lay without really moving for a while.
